Slowball Car #35 Honda Civic by Jukka Virkkunen Supported by Guts

This Honda Civic has been bought from the Russian youngsters, so there was some language barrier as Panda, the Slowball mechanic, does not speak much Russian. However, the deal was successful.

This was an honest purchase. The car did not have any major problems. Some small issues occurred later. For example, its exhaust pipe fell off in the middle of driving. But we are almost expecting Slowball cars to perform such tricks. It is the right of passage to Slowball road trips.

Japanese cars’ frames tend to rust faster than usual, according to our mechanics. So, initially, this car had a lot of aerosol paint stains all over its exterior. All previous owners had tried to hide the rust the best they could – with tape, aerosol paint and fillers. The result of all this fighting with rust is that there is not much metal left in the car’s frame. So, the poor Honda needed a lot of cosmetic fixes before it could be painted by the Artist.
